Soooo just to clarify, this tag is basically about how you’re going to spend the end of the year and prepare for it, which is why I’m doing it even though 2017 isn’t over yet!
I wasn’t actually tagged by anybody, but I have seen a couple of these on other blogs and loved the questions. Plus I have been thinking about what I need to do reading-wise before the end of the year A LOT lately any way. So hopefully this wll help to leep me on track!
~Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?~
There are 2 in fact: Moloka’i by Alan Brennert, which I had been listening to on audiobook in April, then put down because I wasn’t in the mood for it, and now have just begun it again. I am dreading it though because I’m only halfway though and still have 8 hours left; and American Gods by Neil Gaiman… but that book is so daunting! So much book!
~Do you have an autumnal book to transition you into the end of the year?~
The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden. Everything about this book screams cold weather.
~Is there a new release you are still waiting for?~
There are three! And they all come out IN 2 DAYS!! Retribution Rails by Erin Bowman, The Becoming of Noah Shaw by Michelle Hodkin, and The Eaves of Destruction by Kate Carlisle.
~What are three books you want to read by the end of the year?~
The Grisha trilogy! This was on my top 10 TBR for 2017 but I still haven’t picked them up yet! Gah!
~Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favorite of the year?~
I mean… no. I’ve already ready ACOMAF, The Hate U Give, and Meggie Royer’s poetry this year…. nothing is gonna top those books.
~Have you already started making reading plans for 2018?~
Oh yes. I already know my top 5 to re-read and top 10 TBR for 2018. And I know I to read more nonfiction too. oh and actually choose some books from my TBR jar in 2018 as well! And finally, I NEED to be better about reading my NetGalley books.
Not gonna tag anyone, but feel free to do it if you like the questions!
